I got into football back in September and it was and it has taken over my entire life. I have been seeing so many games since NFL Game Pass became free here in the united kingdom after watching the season that is 2019-20. As a fan it has been quite catchy picking up Madden for the very first time and attempting to learn the intricacies of Madden 20 NFL. I was able to acquire my Solo Battles games on difficulty with ease but aside from that, what single player modes are there? I know there are loads of challenges to perform but I'd rather be playing complete games rather than jumping to get a couple of drives, I had been wondering if such as in older FIFA games there was a single player seasons manner or any single player mode where I can play complete games.
The reason I ask is because I tried an internet game earlier and it went so horribly, every offensive play, I would be sacked as his D obtained through my lineup apparently instantly, and on defense all his players just seemed to break away from mine very quickly and easily, so it looks like my team requires some improving first until I play online (It is currently sat at 83 OVR).
I think another thing is that I need to just find out more about Madden 20 NFL in general, I know offensive plays, receiver paths etc but my understanding of protection is quite modest, I do not really understand what I'm calling, other than what man and zone policies are and what a blitz is, I do not really know the difference between any of those plays, within those groups, and that I feel like this is really holding me back, so while this isn't just about MUT, is there anywhere I can learn defense, if that is online or in sport that would be awesome. Thanks a lot, any help would be appreciated!
There is a"Skills Trainer" on the Madden (Not MUT) home screen under exhibition mode/something similar. There, they'll explain exactly what they cease and what the coverages mean, and there'll be an offensive tutorial that teaches you how you can attack those same coverages. Franchise style is sort of like what you mentioned as a single-player mode, although it's with real NFL teams and their rosters.
Thanks, never knew about the abilities trainer, I'll certainly give that a look. Shame there is not a mode like seasons in MUT but I've had fun playing with franchise! Is there anywhere I can find out about various playbooks so I will determine what playstyle that I want to run?
