One of the things which turned me away about the MyPlayer encounter over the years was that the restrictions put on the building and upgrade process. If you go with the air look, you are going to hear a good blend of flooring sound effects together with the audience (boy do I miss that in real life) and the commentary. I'd really like to find a halftime show where the commentary from Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith really matched the clips being shown on the highlight reel. It seems a little less arbitrary on next-gen, but nothing that will stop me from skipping through it.

NBA 2K already had the deepest franchise mode experience in sports video games. By mixing MyGM and MyLeague to MyNBA, they've ignored everyone in a race they were winning. Roster production and franchise style kind of go hand-in-hand, and both have seen upgrades that are noteworthy. The next-gen variant allows fans to talk about their MyNBA installations and scenarios for almost unlimited replay value for those from the community. The quantity of customization in this household of manners has every additional sports gaming community envying what 2K franchise fans have at their disposal.
