So, you can revoke any task you feel is worthwhile but for the ones you do not (or for those who are like me and would like to get combat XP) you can use piety by using powerful sets of prayer and potions, or whatever other prayers for combat you're able to utilize (which is why you use neitiznot/proselyte legs for the +prayer).
A regular slayer helm is Face Mask, Nose Peg, Spiny Helm, and Black Mask like arham said. In order to make it a fully Slayer helm, you'll need to include a Focus Sight as well as a Hexcrest to your slayer helm. Master the general rule for Slayer is to just use the best master. However, in order to score the fastest points, you can finish 9 tasks with Mazchena (sp? ), the demon guy in Canifis before doing your 10th tasks with your master who is the best available (Sumona+).
I'll purchase the berserker ring after that, as well as the prayer boosting armor. I'm able to only get the 15 percent attack bonus and the strength prayer though, not yet the chivalry or piety. Super potions are a recommended item , aren't they? I'm looking to build strength, and so everyone has been recommending d scim SS, or korassi's (which I'm currently not able to purchase). I have the RFD gloves but I'm still not nez. Is black mask ok until full slayer helm? I'll make use of earmuffs and various head accessories until that time. Does the prossy headpiece work better than a fighter's torso?
Can I use pots if I do not pray or use pots on low levelled stuff? In the event of a multi-combat mission, should I use prayer, pots, or cannon? One of my friends said that I needed 55 crafting to create the slayer helm however, I could use points to master how to construct it. Do you believe that? Could Verac's armor be better than the armor of Verac? It's got high defense stats and a great prayer bonus. Also, cloaks give a prayer bonus of 3. Should I substitute one for my skillcape?
