Since Blade and Soul update 2.2 patch released, we can experience the Pets system now. Pets in Blade and Soul just like a weapon which can upgrade. While,  they don’t fight themselves, these little guys and gals offer defensive bonuses when kept well fed.

As for now, Blade and Soul Pets come in multiple quality types, which determines if they can be traded and upgraded. There are 8 pets in Blade&Soul, as follow:

Superior Pets：
Black  Penguin  Pet, Blue  Penguin  Pet, Green  Penguin  Pet，Pink  Penguin  Pet
Heroic  Pets:
Untarmed  Ghost  Pet, Untarmed  Griffin  Pet, Untarmed  Infernal  Pet, Untarmed  Lycan  Pet


Different between Superior Pets and Heroic Pets:
The highest level of Pets is 10J, when it reached 6J,pet level will provide them with increasingly powerful defensive bonuses.
