EoC PvP is dead for a lot of reasons

EoC PvP is dead for a lot of reasons, and It's likely not coming backagain. Perhaps if the uncontrolled had a relatively lower risk (and less risk of randomly losing a Bil in equipment because of a bug) individuals would really engage with all the content. The wilderness is balanced round the excess threat from PKers, however gear costs have increased a lot more prohibitive so that losing everything is a lot more debilitating than it used to be. Furthermore, PvP has just been a hugely busted unfun shitshow ever because EoC went and I think everyone has long since lost hope that it'll get fixed.. I believe my final time was during World occasion two.

Bossfights are largely learning the mechanisms of a boss and doing everything you heard over and above, but PvP can give people an opportunity to reveal deeper comprehension of the combat system. It should rely on observing what the runescape participant does and responding to that. Currently the battle in PvP has rediculous DPS that other individuals can be killed by people with abilities and high-end gear in a second or two. People die before they had a opportunity to react which completely destroys the point of PvP.

There also should be many more chances to secure PvP, as only very few men and women understand how to efficiently take action and there aren't really opportunities to properly practice (particularly as minigames like castle wars are basically dead). Perhaps there should be a"mini wildy" area with secure PvP and where runescape player kills give you battle and slayer encounter, at greater rates than performing regular slayer to make it worth doing. They try to revive it using massively underpowered and fatally flawed updates, and if they flop it is"proof" that PvP is lifeless. Since it's really worth doing warbands, though it has flaws, manages to draw countless individuals.

Why do people insist on revenants instead of PKers? If something, revenants are more annoying because they'll be patrolling each the Wilderness 24/7 and killing everybody. Nowadays, unless you're at a hot place like warbands or lava wyrms it's uncommon to find a PKer. In case revenants are as hard as everyone seems to think they are (which they aren't), the Wilderness will be a hundred times more bothersome for skillers.Isn't it more unbalanced to have a powerful but periodic and restricted pvp threat like pkers than weaker but regular and omnipresent pvm risks such as jelqing? Since it is pointless for pkers to hunt there, Never have I got pked in the camp store. Revs would make a threat than pkers cannot supply.
