Not lol. The devs are not the ones. It's higher leadership who determines resources such as personnel dimensions and game engine. Madden has a limited staff and MUT is smaller. EA should repair the fundamentals of the mode, before any of this new story-driven career stuff gets added. I want to be able to see who a player played for when I look at their career stats. I would like to see which group. I want to have the ability to look at historical stats for my group, and ideally every other team--an EA version of pro football reference that saves all of that data for your league I produce. I need generated draft classes that make a passing attempt. I need these classes to have over 1-2 prospects from major apps, and I don't want to see numerous prospects each year from Princeton and Army and Navy and Villanova. I swear than I do Florida, I visit more prospects from Lehigh.
All this should be really simple to add or fix. A tweak for will correct the schools. Adding teams to player stats has been an essential element in sports games for generations. Data is a matter of saving information that Madden already saves. Once that is figured out, I want to see things like player positions that are sensible. Too many 3-4 teams use 250-pound defensive ends because they are"power rushers" and that is all of the scheme fit seems to recognize.
